Beautiful Black & White Photography by Marcin Stawiarz

Today I came across some truly remarkable black and white photos by Marcin Stawaiz. His photos of landscapes and urban architecture scenes capture a dream like quality in the use of perspective and lighting.

Born in Poland, Marcin Stawaiz is an experimental photographer. He has taken a lot of photos from his trips to such countries as Singapore, Hong Kong, London and Dubai to name a few. Famous landmarks are captured in a totally breathtaking way, especially he’s night time shots. The landscape photos express a sense of wonderment a feeling as if you are on another planet.

“I’ve always been fascinated by landscapes – places that are absolutely desolate, where I can stay one on one with nature. For me, the growing joy right before pressing the shutter button as well as the possibility of interacting with the world filled with inspiration is as important as the creative act itself. Lately, my interests widened to cityscapes, where I pursue qualities characteristic to nature – harmony and peace”
