IE8 Shopping Campaign
Microsoft wanted to run an online Christmas campaign targeting ‘secure online shopping’ to promote the core benefits of Windows Internet Explorer 8. The campaign was also to be rolled out across Europe and various other countries.

The ads and emails were styled in two types; one a Christmas theme with snow and holly, the other a shopping list.

The banner ads had a trolley that would race across the ad and collect the three main IE8 reasons that
can help you shop securely online: web slices that keep you updated; accelerators that navigate to another online
service at a click of a button, and security to keep your browsing safe.
Campaign was localised in sets of banner ads and newsletters to the 30 markets which were promoting the campaign.
