ZOOPLA APP

Zoopla's first native iOS App

The current Zoopla website is not fully responsive. It uses a 'wrapper app' to change the layout into a mobile friendly site and loses some of the website features. With more users using mobile to visit cities and towns looking for property, Zoopla are losing them to competitors with native apps.

Our objectives was to release a v1 native app with our core search and find property filters plus: (1) Location search using mobile location access (2) Multiple location search with postcodes (3) allow users to draw on the map to select properties - This will be a first in the UK (3) Push notifications (4) Quick call to Agents (5) Use iOS interface design and interaction patterns.

Outcome: We had the difficult task to design and build V1 of the app within 6 months. With an awesome team working round the clock, we were able to deliver on time and submit the app to the store at the end of 2015. It was successfully launched Jan 2016.
