Guangzhou Opera House by Zaha Hadid Architects

I am a big fan of Zaha Hadid Architecture, so I was excited to come across photos of the nearly completed Guangzhou opera house in China.

The 70,000 sqm Opera House includes 1,800 seats in the Grand theatre, entrance lobby & lounge, Multifunction hall, other auxiliary facilities & support premises. It rests in the heart of the city’s cultural sites development, with the Pearl River to the south. It is a stunning piece of architecture that establishes Guangzhou as one of Asia’s cultural centres.
